The End of Winter & The Book of Thistles updates
The End of Winter opened last night at thee SBW Stables Theatre in Sydney. Wonderful to have a live performance work happening in a real bricks-and-mortar theatre. ’55 minutes of fascination,’ according to Diana Simmonds’ 4-star review in Stage Noise. ‘The End of Winter is often enlightening, often sobering, and often laugh-out-loud funny,’ she writes.

Some other happy news yesterday—albeit four years after the event!—I learnt that The Book of Thistles was one of three books shortlisted for the 2018 Mascara Avant-garde Awards. Not sure how or why I missed that, but better late than never.
