High Windows Low Doorways
I’m part of Subtlenuance’s new multi-playwright project, High Windows Low Doorways.
Subtlenuance has teamed writers with performers, to tell a tale from the actor’s spiritual experience. Epiphany, euphoria, ecstasy—those glorious moments when nothing makes sense, and it no longer matters. Dread, despondency, despair—those painful moments when it seems only too clear. Tales of fear, hope and love, of life, death and beyond—that’s High Windows Low Doorways.
I’m paired with Peter McAllum, and our piece is called Night Hymns—although unlike many multi-writer projects, High Windows Low Doorways isn’t a program of discrete shorts, but an interconnected show.
